Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs were seen in public for the first time after they were reported to have canceled their wedding due to family issues several weeks ago. The "Twilight" actor and his 29-year-old fiancee were photographed grabbing dinner in London on Sunday evening, February 5.
In some photos obtained by Pop Sugar, the couple could be seen trying to walk past photographers. The 30-year-old actor went casual in a beanie and a pair of Nike sneakers as he kept his body warm in a dark jacket, while the "Two Weeks" singer looked stunning in green plunging, sleeveless top with her coat draped around her arms.
Robert has been keeping his relationship with the British singer under the radar since they started dating in late 2014. Early last month, reports emerged claiming that the couple had called off their wedding. Robert was allegedly afraid that their families would release all of the couple's secrets to the media if they were invited to their wedding.
Insiders claimed that Robert didn't want anyone to be at his nuptials because he didn't want the details to be leaked to the press. He reportedly wanted "to desperately keep their wedding plans private [as] he hates that his relationship with his ex Kristen Stewart is still making headlines to this very day. That's why he's desperately trying to keep his relationship with FKA under the radar."
Robert recently made headlines again when Kristen hosted "Saturday Night Live" for the first time over the weekend. His ex-girlfriend accidentally cursed during her monologue as she brought up Donald Trump's 2012 "obsessed" tweets in which POTUS seemingly attacked her for cheating on Robert with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.
