Grammys' Producer on Justin Bieber's Boycott Rumor: We're Still In Talks With Him

The annual award-giving ceremony's executive producer reveals that he's still talking to the pop star about his attendance.

AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Drake are reportedly going to skip the 2017 Grammy Awards. While Drake is using his tour as an excuse to not attend the award-giving event, both Bieber and West are boycotting the event reportedly because they think the Grammys is irrelevant. However, Grammys' executive producer Ken Ehrlich begs to differ.

Ehrlich told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday night, January 31 that they're actually still talking to Bieber about his attendance. "Look, we'd love to have them again," said Ehrlich, before adding, "We're actually still talking to Justin. Kanye, it's probably going to be a question of --if it will happen, it will or won't happen closer to the show." When he was asked about the possibility of Bieber performing at the event, Ehrlich gave a mysterious answer, "You never know."

Even though he was not sure about West's attendance, Ehrlich would still love to have him at the Grammys. "We've worked with Kanye many number of times and we've actually been very much involved in the successes that he's had," Ehrlich said. "Some of his greatest performances have been on the GRAMMYs. I would sure love to see him in the house."

The executive producer also discussed the possibility of having Taylor Swift on Grammys' stage. "I don't think Taylor's really going to be a part of the show this year," Ehrlich revealed. "She did pretty well last year... Expect her to be back big next year, but probably not this year." But Ehrlich spilled the beans on Swift's BFF Selena Gomez's attendance as he said that people "would see her."

Ehrlich later played coy as he only shrugged when he was asked about whether or not Beyonce Knowles would attend the annual ceremony. It should be noted though that the interview took place before Queen Bey announced her pregnancy on Instagram.
