The caption in Warner Bros.' Instagram photo confirms that the characters, who are led by Sandra Bullock's Debby Ocean, will pull off a heist at New York City's Met Gala.

AceShowbiz - First official photo from "Ocean's Eight" offers an intriguing look at its cast members. Making its way out via Instagram, the photo features Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Sarah Paulson in a New York City subway. Apparently the image teases that their characters are up to something, and instead of using high-class vehicle, they choose a common public transportation.

In the caption, Warner Bros. reveals the movie's premise and characters. "In Summer 2018...the tide will turn. Here's your First Look at #Oceans8. | Warner Bros. Pictures' and Village Roadshow Pictures' first look at 'Ocean's 8' from one of New York City's most iconic locales: the subway," says Warner Bros.

"In Summer 2018, the tide will turn as (L-r) Debbie Ocean (#SandraBullock) attempts to pull off the heist of the century at New York City's star-studded annual Met Gala. Debbie Ocean will lead the female thieves. Lou will reportedly be Debbie's right-hand friend, a role similar to Rusty (Brad Pitt) in "Ocean's Eleven". Based on the premise above, Debbie, Lou and their crew members are planning a heist at New York City's Met Gala.

Another "Ocean's Eight" cast member is "The Late Late Show with James Corden" host James Corden. Matt Damon, who played pickpocket expert Linus Caldwell in "Ocean's Eleven", will also make an appearance. The movie is also packed with big cameos such as Katie Holmes, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner. There is a rumor that George Clooney will return to the all-female "Ocean's Eleven" movie as Danny Ocean.

"Ocean's Eight" is set to hit U.S. theaters on June 8, 2018.
