A loyal Republican and Donald Trump's supporter, Stacey Dash, is fired from her job as a contributor for Fox News. Dash was fired while enjoying her hiatus as she hasn't appeared on Fox since September.

The TV station reportedly had made her join the unemployment line since they didn't want to renew her contract. The decision of not renewing Dash's contract was taken last fall. Dash wasn't the only one fired since Fox also decided not to renew the contracts of political strategist Ed Rollins and columnist Cal Thomas.

Dash was recruited by Fox News back in 2014 and her job was to provide cultural analysis and commentary. She was known for her controversial remarks and was widely criticized for making uninformed comments and conservative opinions.

In 2015, she was even temporarily suspended by Fox News after cursing on-air while sharing her thoughts on then President Barack Obama's speech about terrorism. She said, "I didn't feel any passion from him. I feel like he could give a s**t, excuse me, he could care less."

The "Clueless" actress also drew criticism in 2016 after making an appearance on "Fox and Friends", during which she said that people "should not have channels geared towards African-Americans if we don't want segregation."

"We have to make up our minds," she said. "Either we want to have segregation or integration. And if we don't want segregation, then we need to rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the (NAACP) Image Awards where you're only awarded if you're black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It's a double standard."

Twitter users lighted up as soon as they heard the news of Dash's dismissal. A user tweeted, "Stacey Dash did all that tap dancing for Trump, only to get fired on day 2 of Trump being in office LMAOOOOO," while another person wrote, "Stacey Dash got fired from fox that's funny too bad me & the black community don't know her."
