The 'Flip of Flop' star took to Twitter to clear up rumors surrounding his split from Christina which claimed that he treated her 'like garbage.'

Tarek El Moussa has set the record straight about rumors surrounding his split from Christina. According to In Touch, the "Flip or Flop" star was verbally abusive to his estranged wife. The publication quoted multiple "sources" as saying that he even called her a "whore" during their relationship.
One source said Tarek "found humor in insulting his wife in repeated verbal attacks. Some of his bad behavior was even caught on camera [in footage that never aired]." Another source claimed, "He said things like that all the time and then laughed about it," adding that "Tarek treated Christina like garbage."
On Wednesday, January 18, Tarek took to social media to clear up the alleged details about his split from Christina. "No matter the lies, innuendo, salacious gossip and 'fake news' that is thrown at me from irresponsible media outlets via anonymous sources, I will keep my focus on what matters most, which is co-parenting our children and working hard on our business," he wrote.
Tarek filed for divorce earlier this month. He and Christina announced their split in December, just months after cops were called to their Orange County home because of Tarek running from the house with a gun. Following their separation, the estranged couple remains cordial for the sake of their children, 6-year-old daughter Taylor and 1-year-old son Brayden.
