Kesha, formerly known as Ke$ha, apparently is still shaken by her legal drama against music producer Dr. Luke. The "We R Who We R" hitmaker broke down in tears as she described what it's like to have "everything taken away" from her in the latest segment of Viceland's music-documentary series, "Noisey".

"When you work really hard at something, then to have it taken away from you is pretty devastating," Kesha said. "I worked my a** off for a lot of years to be able to do it. You know, I sang backup vocals and the first couple songs I was on, I didn't give a f**k 'cause I just had this one vision. Once you earn that and make that happen, then to have it taken away from you is pretty devastating. It is definitely a mindf**k."

"I mean, it's not like it's incredibly poignant or anything," the 28-year-old singer sarcastically responded when asked about her song choice, "I Shall Be Released", during her performance at the historic Ryman for a Bob Dylan tribute. "I think I'm just finding my voice in the world," she added. "The past three years has been me taking my center and myself back and my voice."

Kesha is not allowed to release any music outside of Luke's purview due to her contract. A judge unfortunately denied her request to end her contract with Dr. Luke and Sony in February. She decided to drop her sexual assault case against Luke in August in order to focus on her comeback in the music business.
