The former NBA star opens up about his battle with drugs and shares how much his ex-wife means to him in his first post-rehab interview on 'The Doctors'.

Lamar Odom sat down with Dr. Travis Stork in the Tuesday, January 17 episode of "The Doctors" to discuss his recent rehab stint. In addition to expressing desire to win back his ex Khloe Kardashian, the former NBA star publicly thanked the reality TV star for taking care of him during his addiction.
In the emotional interview, Lamar opened up about his battle with drugs and what he's looking forward to now that he's sober. "I want my wife back," he told Dr. Stork at one point before explaining how much Khloe meant to him.
"When you're doing drugs, you become distant to everything. Even your feelings, you become numb to everything. Just to reinstate what we had as a family, it was important to me," he shared. "Khloe is important to me. She's been through all this with me. She stood by my side. I just want to repay her."
During his appearance on the show, Lamar also apologized to Khloe and his kids. "I just want to tell them I'm sorry for all that wasted time and wasted energy," he said. "In my addiction, I didn't know who I was so I couldn't take care of myself. I damn sure couldn't take care of anyone else."
Lamar and Khloe got married in September 2009 and split a few years later. Their divorce was finalized last December, the same month Lamar checked into rehab facility in San Diego to seek professional help for substance abuse and addiction.
But rekindling his relationship with Khloe is nearly impossible now. The 32-year-old beauty has completely moved on from him with Cleveland Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson whom she began dating last August.
