Is Harry Styles close to releasing his solo album? Rumor has it, the One Direction's member might be dropping his debut solo album this year. A source close to Styles told HollywoodLife.com that the album would be released sooner than anyone expected.

"Instead of dropping something around 'Dunkirk', Harry is working on dropping music and a full album right around the Grammys," the source claimed. "[Harry] thinks the surprise and shock of it all will make a bigger splash, instead of announcing a release date. He has enough songs to put out an album, it's just the final logistics that are being worked out now."

The first hints of Styles' solo career came in 2015, when four songs performed and written by the singer were registered with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). Last year, he made a serious deal as he signed solo recording contract with Columbia Records, the same label behind his group.

2016 had been an amazing year for the British singer. He made his solo magazine cover debut with three covers of Another Man. He was also featured in Christopher Nolan's "Dunkirk" alongside Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy. The World War II-inspired flick is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on July 21.
