AceShowbiz - Netflix has released new promo for Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events". The video features deadpan humor of Patrick Warburton, who plays author Lemony Snicket on the series, telling fans about the danger that the cast will face.

Warburton's Snicket warns, "The cinematic tease before you is full of disturbed plots, villainous frightful deeds, and an absurd amount of child endangerment. Do you really want to sit through every horrid episode? Be a dear, and look away."

The footage also shows glimpses of some characters including Justice Strauss (Joan Cusack) and their family lawyer Mr. Poe (K. Todd Freman). It offers a peek at Sunny Baudelaire's (Presley Smith) unusual sharp teeth and Count Olaf's (Neil Patrick Harris) tattoo.

"A Series of Unfortunate Events" chronicles the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans, whose evil guardian Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance. The siblings must outsmart Olaf at every turn, foiling his many devious plans and disguises, in order to discover clues to their parents' mysterious death.

The series also stars Malina Weissman as Violet Baudelaire, Louis Hynes as Klaus Baudelaire, Catherine O'Hara as Dr. Georgina Orwell and more.

"A Series of Unfortunate Events" premieres on January 13 on Netflix.
