Another color photo of "Logan" has been released. This time it features Caliban, an albino mutant portrayed by Stephen Merchant. The photo shows Caliban behind bars, suggesting that he is locked somewhere. Wide-eyed and pale, he looks very stressed.

Caliban is named after a character from William Shakespeare's "Tempest". Born with pale complexion and big yellow eyes, Caliban spends most of his life underground, with an ability of sensing the presence of other mutants. So far, his role in "Logan" is to take care of Professor Xavier (portrayed by Patrick Stewart) together with Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman). Caliban's further role has not been revealed yet.

Back in October, director James Mangold talked about his feeling on working with Caliban's depicter Stephen Merchant. "I'm always interested to find the thing that looks most interesting on the actors. Stephen is a huge man," Mangold said. "One of the things that is so wonderful filming with him for a character like this is that he's a good six inches taller than Logan, and huge over Patrick. The little kid in the movie would come up to basically his knee. So there's a wonderful sense of scale-but he has heart too. So that was a wonderful energy to enter the movie, and someone who instead of turning things into their own energy kind of joined ours."

"Logan" will hit U.S. theaters on March 3, 2017, starring Hugh Jackman, Stephen Merchant, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Dafne Keen, Doris Morgado, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Richard E. Grant.
