"It" remake has dropped a new official image. Obtained by Entertainment Weekly, it shows Pennywise the Clown's secret hideout in the town's underbelly. The evil character played by Bill Skarsgard is seen lurking in the sewer.
However, the monster won't just lurk in the shadows. "Pennywise shows up, he's front and center, and he does his show. He has an act/ So it's weird all the time, and every little thing implies a further threat," says director Andy Muschietti ("Mama").
The new take on Stephen King's classic horror story is scheduled to arrive Stateside on September 8, 2017. It follows a group of kids that encounter an evil creature. When the creature resurfaces, the kids are called upon to regroup again, this time as adults, even though they have no memory of the first battle.
