The custody battle between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt just gets nastier. After the actor filed another motion in attempt to protect his six children's privacy, the actress reportedly branded her estranged husband's action a "press move."

As previously reported, Pitt asked an L.A. Superior Court judge on Wednesday, December 21 to seal the kids' records as he accused Jolie of compromising their six children's privacy by making their divorce case documents public.

In his newly-filed docs, he slammed his ex-lover for appearing "to be determined to ignore even agreed upon standards relating to the children's best interest [while] attempting to clear the way to put in the public eye any allegations she can, without regard to the impact on the minor children."

He also claimed that the "Maleficent" actress "expos[es] the children by making public the names of their therapists and other mental health professionals." He added that Jolie had "no self-regulating mechanism" to prevent sensitive information from being released to the public.

Following Pitt's latest filing, sources told Daily Mail that Jolie was surprised because she already signed a deal agreeing to have the documents sealed. "Everyone was surprised that he filed with the court because he already filed with the court before. Besides, Angelina had already signed an agreement to seal the court file. It protects the children and it also protects information about Brad," one source said.

The insider added that Jolie, who believed the issue had been settled, thought Pitt's filing "makes no sense legally" and was just a "press move." "All parties have already agreed and signed. The accusation that she is not protecting the privacy of her children is clearly false," the source explained.

The source went on arguing that if Jolie wanted to make Pitt look bad, she could've done so months ago by revealing details of the infamous fight between him and their son Maddox during a private flight last September. "If Angelina wanted to detail what happened on the plane, she could have. Nothing has been released and Angelina has kept silent," the source added.

However, another insider denied that an agreement between the former couple to keep things private already existed. "The Court hearing is still taking place on January 17. The hearing wouldn't take place if the case were sealed," the insider said, as quoted by Us Weekly. "The judge has asked that both sides file whatever they need to before the 17th. This is Brad's filing for that date."
