Kanye West's recent antics seem to worry his mother-in-law Kris Jenner. The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch reportedly feels the need to "keep tabs" on the troubled rapper and she uses her boyfriend Corey Gamble to help her do so.

According to a Radar Online source, Kris makes her boy toy follow Kanye around as the "Famous" hitmaker visits New York. Corey was also with 'Ye when the latter met Presiden-elect Donald Trump at the Trump Tower in Manhattan.

"Kris is a control freak and Kanye being such a loose cannon scares her," the insider tells the publication. "Now she has her boyfriend shadowing Kanye 24/7."

The source also states that Corey is the "perfect person to keep tabs on unpredictable Kanye without drawing attention to what's going on." The source explains, "[Corey] fits into [Kanye's] group and has a talent for disappearing so you forget he is even with you."

Corey has indeed been with Kanye in New York and was with him too when the Chicago spitter stopped by the Trump Tower, but it's all about work. As pointed out by Gossip Cop, Corey works for West's co-manager Scooter Braun, so it's only natural for him to be with his client.

Additionally, a source close to Kris has denied Radar Online's story about the reality TV star, her boyfriend and her son-in-law. The source says that the tabloid's claims are 100 percent "false."

While Kris might not ask Corey to spy on Kanye, she's did encourage her boyfriend to be a close friend to 'Ye's. An insider tells PEOPLE that the two men "have a great friendship" and Kris is the reason why.

"Kris wants them to be close," the source says. "Kanye doesn't have that many friends, so she definitely encourages them to hang out and do things together." Another source shares that it's not hard for Corey to become Kanye's pal.

"Kanye appreciates how much Corey cares for the family and all he does," the second source explains. "They have a lot in common, including music, and know many of the same people."
