Lady GaGa Agrees to Interview With Piers Morgan to Settle Debate About Her PTSD Claims

The 'Million Reasons' hitmaker is willing to sit down with the British journalist after he doubted her claims that she has suffered from PTSD after she was raped as a teenager.

AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa and Piers Morgan have been engaged in a debate on Twitter over his skepticism about GaGa's PTSD claims. The singer recently opened up on "Today" about her struggle with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after she was raped at the age of 19, but the British journalist doubted it.

He first responded to GaGa's story by posting on Twitter, "No, soldiers returning from battlefields do. Enough of this vain-glorious nonsense," adding, "I come from a big military family. It angers me when celebrities start claiming 'PTSD' about everything to promote themselves." He also said that GaGa and Madonna's allegations of rape should not be trusted without "proper criminal investigation."

GaGa later took to her own Twitter account to respond to Morgan's tweets. "@piersmorgan I've work w/ our VP Joe Biden on helping educate people about why women don't report, would love to share it w/ you some time," she wrote.

Morgan agreed, suggesting that they sit down for an interview to settle it. "OK, you're on. Let's do an interview about this & you can tell me why I'm wrong to be sceptical," he posted. GaGa replied, "Let's do that & yes Mr. Morgan, I can handle u. Suprised you would question that. Was that the 1st question of our interview?"

It appears that they're both serious about doing the interview as Morgan wrote again that his people would contact GaGa's camp. She, however, warned him that "if you continue to shame me in the process of kindly agreeing to interview w/ u I'll happily do the interview with someone else."

No date has been set for the interview yet.
