Congratulations are in order for Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa. The retired Los Angeles Lakers player is officially a dad of three now after his wife recently gave birth to another baby girl, reports TMZ Sports.
Aside from the gender, which Kobe announced a few months ago, and the fact that she was born in Los Angeles this week, not much has been revealed about the baby. Her name as well as her exact birth date are still kept under wraps.
Kobe and his model wife met in 1999 when she was only 17. They got married in 2001 and welcomed their first child, a girl named Natalia, in 2003. They had their second child Gianna, also a girl, three years later in 2006.
The pair's marriage nearly came to an end in December 2011, when Vanessa filed for divorce from her husband amid reports of his infidelity. They called off their divorce in 2013 and announced this summer that she was pregnant again with Kobe's child.
Back in July, just months after Kobe officially retired, they shared the happy news via an Instagram photo featuring a onesie with the words "Baby Mamba" written on it. "Beyond blessed and excited to share that we are expecting our third baby girl!!! #Blessed #BabyMamba #Thankful," so the former NBA superstar wrote in the caption.
