A new concept art for the upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie has landed online. Courtesy of IGN, it gives a sneak peek at Alpha 5 which gets redesigned for this film. It's more sleek and modern but still pays tribute to the original classic look.
The iconic robot will be voiced by Bill Hader. Dacre Montgomery stars as Red Ranger, Ludi Lin as Black Ranger, Naomi Scott as Pink Ranger, R.J. Cyler as Blue Ranger, and Becky G as Yellow Ranger. Their mentor Zordon will be played by Bryan Cranston.
Directed by Dean Israelite, the Saban color-coded superheroes will arrive in theaters across the country on March 24, 2017. Elizabeth Banks is set to portray the formidable foe, Rita Repulsa. The evil woman will be joined by her infamous henchman Goldar.
