The first-look image of Jimmy Smits' classic character Bail Organa in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" has arrived. Thanks to a "Star Wars" fan who shares on Twitter the picture which will be be part of the latest issue of Us Weekly, fans can finally get the official look at the senator of Alderaan.

As seen in the image, Organa's suit is rather plain looking as the character "isn't as stately as in the other episodes." The actor explains that in the upcoming "Star Wars" spin-off, Organa, who is also one of the founders of the Rebels, "isn't as high up the political food chain."

Organa, who becomes the adoptive father of Princess Leia in "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith", actually already appeared in "Star Wars" Celebrations reel which was released back in July. He was talking to Genevieve O'Reilly's Mon Mothma in the footage, but viewers couldn't notice him as his face was mostly hidden behind the camera.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" hits U.S. theaters on December 21. It follows Felicity Jones as the lead character Jyn Erso, a Rebellion soldier who is set off on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. With the aid of the Rebels, a master swordsman and non-allied forces, Jyn will be in for something bigger than she thinks.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, the much-awaited "Star Wars" stand-alone movie also stars Diego Luna, Forest Whitaker, Donnie Yen, Riz Ahmed, Alan Tudyk, Mads Mikkelsen, Jonathan Aris, Ben Mendelsohn and James Earle Jones.
