Coldplay to Launch New 'Kaleidoscope' EP in 2017

The band is working on new album to be released next year after announcing a 2017 North American arena-stadium tour last month.

AceShowbiz - Coldplay is back with new music next year. The band takes to Twitter to announce a new EP titled "Kaleidoscope" to be released in 2017. So far, no other details are revealed. The EP has the same name as a "A Head Full of Dreams" track.

"Hello everyone, we're working on some new songs for next year. It's called the Kaleidoscope ep," Coldplay writes, "We hope you're well, love cm #KaleidoscopeEP."

The new EP comes after Coldplay announced a 2017 North American arena-stadium tour in October. Chris Martin and his bandmates will return to the United States and Canada beginning from August to October next year for their ongoing "A Head Full of Dreams Tour".

The 18-date trek kicks off at East Rutherford's MetLife Stadium on August 1, 2017 and wraps October 8, 2017 in San Diego.
