The man who stole dozens of celebrity nude photos back in 2014 is sent to jail. Arrested in March this year, 36-year-old Ryan Collins is sentenced to 18 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge William W. Caldwell in Pennsylvania.

Collins admitted to gaining access into his victims' private accounts through a phishing scheme. According to prosecutors, the Lancaster resident hacked into more than 100 Google and Apple accounts from November 2012 to September 2014 alone.

Investigators found more than 600 victims many of whom were famous stars including Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and Gabrielle Union. He was charged with felony computer hacking and agreed to take a plea deal earlier this year.

While he was found guilty of gaining unauthorized access to a protected computer to obtain information, prosecutors said there was no evidence he posted or shared the stolen images online.
