Perrie Edwards may detail her breakup from the former One Direction member in her group's new single which will premiere next Sunday on 'The X Factor'.

AceShowbiz - Little Mix announced new single "Shout Out to My Ex" on Sunday, October 9. Soon after that, rumors have been flying that the song will reveal details regarding Perrie Edwards' breakup from Zayn Malik.

"We were busy getting this one PERFECT and ready for you lot! Here's the official artwork for our single #ShoutOutToMyEx," the group wrote on Instagram along with the artwork for the song, "We are so excited to share this track with the world!! We're releasing the track next Sunday on 16.10.16 after our FIRST EVER live performance of it on @thexfactor!!! CAN'T WAIT! the girls x."

Little Mix also shared a silhouette photo along with a message, possibly a verse from the song, written across it, "Took four years to call it quits, forget that boy I'm over it." Perrie and Zayn ended their 4-year relationship in August 2015 amid rumors that he had cheated on her.

According to The Sun, Perrie claimed in the song that she faked orgasms in bed with Zayn and referred to Zayn's new girlfriend Gigi Hadid. "I hope she gettin' better sex, Hope she ain't fakin' it like I did, babe," the lyrics include, "Guess I should say thank you, For the 'hate yous' and the tattoos, Oh baby I'm cool by the way, Ain't sure I loved you anyway."

But Little Mix said, "Nothing's official until we announce it."
