John Legend teases his new single "Love Me Now". The "All of Me" hitmaker shares on Instagram and Twitter a 15-second snippet of the track, which is set to be released on Thursday, October 6 during his Facebook Live interview.

John sings, "I don't know who's gonna kiss you when I'm gone/ So I'm gonna love you now/ like it's all I have/ I know it'll kill me when it's over/ I don't wanna think about it/ I want you to love me now."

The cover art for the single features John and his wife Chrissy Teigen snuggling with their eyes closed. "My new single 'Love Me Now' is coming this Friday! Tune into my Facebook LIVE premiere of #LoveMeNow this Thursday at 10:30pm ET," he writes.

In an interview with NOTION Magazine's latest issue, John talks about his forthcoming album. "I don't think it's a dramatic change," he explains, "I believe that it's progression; continuing to push myself and trying to perfect my craft and, to me, that really is to write the best songs you can write, then try to record and produce them in the best way that you can."

He continues, "That's what we focused on; trying to write great songs that told my story. It's a bit more of a live band sound than previous albums, we used a live drummer more than we used to, so on a sonic side that's one of the biggest differences, it gives it a more soulful feel I think."
