Pascal Duvier did a great job saving Kim Kardashian from prankster Vitalii Sediuk upon her arrival in Paris last week. However, the bodyguard was not even there with the reality TV star when she was robbed at gunpoint in her apartment on early Monday morning, October 3. So, is she mad at him for failing to protect her?

As previously reported, Pascal was guarding Kim's sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner when the incident happened. According to Us Weekly, the 35-year-old beauty herself gave him permission to leave her because she felt "completely safe" in her and husband Kanye West's apartment in the luxury building known as the Hotel de Portals.

"Pascal was with Kourtney and Kendall at L'Arc Nightclub. Kim felt safe at the apartment by herself," an insider told the site, adding that Kim didn't blame Pascal at all for the unfortunate incident, "Kim is not blaming Pascal. She felt completely safe at the Paris apartment and doesn't believe this is his fault in any way."

Kim lost about $10 million worth of jewelry in the burglary. She was tied up in the bathroom as the thieves, five men in masks, stole several items including the new massive diamond ring Kanye gave her a few weeks ago as well as two iPhones.

Her longtime friend Simone was in separate room inside the apartment during the heist. She called Pascal and Kourtney, who arrived at the property just minutes after the burglars left.

Pascal previously saved Kim after Vitalii Sediuk tried to literally kiss her ass. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star then raved about him on Twitter, saying, "My security @PascalDuvier is a G." After the incident, some of her followers mocked Pascal for not being around and suggested that he might lose his job.

The Us Weekly insider said that Kim would tighten security in the future and she had no plan to fire Pascal. "There will be a massive security detail in place for the future. Pascal is staying," the source shared.
