"Twin Peaks" has got a new extended teaser. While it still doesn't reveal any footage from the Showtime revival, it helps set the mood for the continuation to the 1990 TV series by featuring some familiar haunting music.

The approximately one-minute video features none other than the show's original composer Angelo Badalamenti playing the chill-inducing "Laura Palmer's Theme" from the original series as the image of Laura's face slowly appears toward the end of the video.

Badalamenti will also serve as the composer for the 18-episode continuation. Series creators David Lynch and Mark Frost write the miniseries, with Lynch also directing.

It is set 25 years after the inhabitants of a quaint northwestern town were stunned when their homecoming queen Laura Palmer was shockingly murdered. Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee and Sherilyn Fenn are among the returning cast, while Balthazar Getty, Amanda Seyfried, Laura Dern and Robert Knepper are tapped as new additions to the cast.

No premiere date is set for the continuation yet. Showtime will air the new teaser during its "Dexter" marathon on Sunday, October 2 in honor of the original show's 10th anniversary.
