The actress proves that age is just a number as she goes makeup-free for a snap she shared on Instagram on the day she turned 44.

Gwyneth Paltrow can ditch her makeup and still look flawless. The "Iron Man" actress let her Instagram followers know this when she posted on Instagram Tuesday afternoon, September 27 a fresh-faced selfie in honor of her 44th birthday.
In the snap, the Goop founder is seen rocking wavy hair and a floral top as she smiles at the camera and shows no sign of aging. "#nomakeup for my 44th birthday, embracing my past and future. Thank you for the instalove #goopgoesmakeupfree @goop," she wrote in the caption.
Staying pretty and ageless is not easy for Paltrow. In a chat with NY Times earlier this year, she admitted she tried everything and was even willing to undergo painful procedures to maintain her beauty. "I'm always the guinea pig to try everything. I've got to try them all," she said.
"I love acupuncture. Also, I just heard of a service called a sound bath, which might be too hippie-ish even for the likes of me. It's some new healing modality. I might not be able to handle it," she explained.
"I've been stung by bees. It's a thousands of years old treatment called apitherapy. People use it to get rid of inflammation and scarring. It's actually pretty incredible if you research it. But, man, it's painful," she added. "I haven't done cryotherapy yet, but I do want to try that."
