There's no safe haven on "Fear the Walking Dead". After getting accustomed to the new community he found, Nick senses looming danger. "The danger is now. It's real, it's coming," Nick warns Alejandro, but the leader of the community insists that "nobody leaves the Colonia."

At the hotel, after their effort to clear out the walkers of the hotel, Madison and her group will deal with a violent person among themselves, forcing her to take action. She threatens to kick people out if they hurt another, as Strand is injured.

Meanwhile, Alicia confronts her mother about risking something. In another scene, Nick shares another hot moment with Luciana after [SPOILER ALERT!] they hooked up in the most recent outing, "Pablo & Jessica".

"Pillar of Salt" airs Sunday, September 18 at 9/8c on AMC. According to the official description of the episode, "at the Colonia, Alejandro reveals his darker side; a hotel resident becomes violent and Madison springs into action."

Showrunner Dave Erickson has told EW what to expect in the next episode. "Everything is going to be beautiful. Things at the hotel are going to be great. They're going to start to farm," he coyly says, before sharing, "As you've indicated, we're setting ourselves up for a potential fall and Madison's efforts to reconnect with Nick - that's going to gain a foothold and ultimately she's going to be tested in terms of where her love really lies. How far is she willing to go to save her son when her daughter is right there by her side?"
