Billy Crudup is added to "The Flash" movie. According to Variety, the "Public Enemies" actor has been tapped as Barry Allen's father Dr. Henry Allen. He joins Ezra Miller who is already cast as the titular hero and Kiersey Clemons as his love interest.

The DC superhero movie is scheduled in the U.S. for March 16, 2018. It's directed by "Dope" helmer Rick Famuyiwa. The big-screen version of the Speedster first made a quick cameo in "Suicide Squad" and will get further introduction in "Justice League" before finally getting his own solo film.
