Drake's Dad Shoots Down Rapper and Rihanna Dating Reports: 'They're Just Fiends'

Despite the couple's PDA-filled nights and their matching tattoos, Dennis Graham tells TMZ cameramen that there's 'no relationship' between the 'Work' collaborators.

AceShowbiz - That VMA love declaration and their matching tattoos aren't enough to convince Drake's dad that the rapper and Rihanna are an item. When he was recently asked to comment on the two's romance, Dennis Graham said that his son and his "Work" collaborator weren't even in a relationship.

"They're friends, they been friends for years," he told TMZ cameramen at Bootsy Bellows on the Sunset Strip. Asked if Drake's going to settle down now that he has RiRi, Mr. Graham continued, "I dunno about settling down. They're friends."

Aubrih shippers will understandably find Mr. Graham's statements about their romance hard to believe. The pair have been very public with their relationship ever since Drake admitted during last month's MTV Video Music Awards that he'd been in love with Rihanna since he was 22 years old. "She's one of my best friends in the world," he told the crowd at the time.

Following the event, the two shared a kiss onstage while performing together at one of his "Summer Sixteen" shows. Recently, they also got matching tattoos inspired by a stuffed animal shark Drizzy bought her during their private date at a Toronto aquarium.
