Drake is opening a "classy" strip club called The Ballet in Houston, Texas. He announced the club opening while launching a pop-up at the Toyota Center during his annual Houston Appreciation Weekend on Monday, September 5. The "Hotline Bling" hitmaker described the club as "a new dance experience."
Rather than calling it a strip club, Drizzy called his new hotspot a "classy" dance club with a strict "business attire" dress code, seemingly inspired by Jada Pinkett Smith's "Magic Mike XXL" establishment by putting women "on a pedestal."
"Tonight is a different take on how it should be done in Houston," Drizzy wrote on Instagram alongside the club's logo, "Treat yourself don't cheat yourself. Where the women are on a pedestal and the surroundings are unforgettable. The Ballet pop up tonight for HAW. Grand opening early 2017. #HelloWorld."
Speaking at his pop-up event, Drizzy told the crowd, "There's a culture out there of dancing and it's not about no strip club s**t. It's about these amazing women that we've got in one spot, the music that we've got, and the Houston culture that we got. I just wanna let you know that I'm going to bring it to you in the most honest and genuine way possible."
