'Bachelor in Paradise' Recap: More Fights and Departures
TV

Twins Emily and Haley quit the show, leaving Carl, Daniel and Ryan without rose and sent packing.

AceShowbiz - "Bachelor in Paradise" has enough tears, fights and goodbyes to get us hooked this week. Following last week's cliffhanger in which Caila finally confronted Ashley for bad mouthing her in front of their mutual love interest Jared, Caila threw a punch on Ashley by saying, "I'm sorry that you guys are longtime friends and that he like, loves you like a sister. You and I don't have to talk for the rest of the time here, if that's what you want!"

Jared tried to console Ashley, but that only made her sob. She cried over everything from Jared to the fact that she was crying about Jared to the death of her dog Lucy.

Ashley felt better after Wells from JoJo Fletcher's "The Bachelorette" season arrived. Ashley was immediately attracted to him and the rest of the contestants tried to convince Wells to ask Ashley on his date.

After flirting for a while, Wells finally asked her out. Ashley was worried because she's "really bad at flirting," but their date went well. They had a dinner and talked about music and their love of dogs. They also set a fire lantern free and made a wish.

Back at the mansion, Lace and Grant kept playing that hard-to-get game. Grant was pissed off because Lace flirted with Carl in front of him and then she told him, "Good luck on getting a rose tomorrow." Lace eventually apologized and they made up.

Meanwhile, tension built up between Nick and Josh that same night. Amanda told Jen and Nick that they could use the private bedroom because she planned to sleep in her own room instead of with Josh because she was tired. Amanda went to bed without telling Josh about this, so when Josh saw Nick and Jen heading to the private room, he stopped them. Nick and Jen then told Josh that Amanda had gone to bed, but he wasn't pleased.

Before the rose ceremony, Daniel tried hard to get a rose, making bracelets for the girls and getting a platter of fries, chicken nuggets and onion rings for Haley. At the rose ceremony, Carly handed her rose to Evan, Ashley chose Wells, Jen gave hers to Nick, Izzy picked Brett, and Caila chose Jared. The twins, Haley and Emily, decided to quit because they're not attracted to any of the remaining guys. With the two girls leaving, Daniel, Carl and Ryan were sent packing.

Before they left, Haley and Emily stirred up the drama between Nick and Josh by pulling Amanda aside and warning her about Josh. They expressed concern about his intentions and pointed out the allegations about him in Andi Dorfman's book.

After the twins left, Amanda told Josh about what she heard from Haley and Emily. Josh was angry. He told everyone to gather and asked them who accused him of "being fake." When Josh asked the other contestants, "You don't think I'm genuine?" Nick honestly answered, "I don't know."

Then the screaming match between the longtime enemies began, with Josh saying, "Just because [Amanda] doesn't like you, doesn't mean you have to hurt our relationship." He accused Nick of "holding a grudge" and then angrily stormed into his room and packed his bags. Amanda talked to him and said she was "sorry for even questioning" him. She decided that she trusted him. He later said that he would stay for Amanda and they kissed.

The next day, Jami from Ben Higgins' season arrived. Wells was the only guy who had woken up so she asked him on a date before she met the other guys. When Jared woke up, he was worried, but Ashley wasn't. She was certain that their date would "probably suck," but she was wrong. They had a good time going off-roading during their date and they kissed under a waterfall.

Ashley, again, focused her energy on Caila and Jared. Ashley asked Caila to not "full on make out" in front of her. Caila was tired of dealing with this, so she asked Ashley, "Do you want me to go home?" Caila admitted she didn't feel comfortable and at the end of the episode she told Jared she wanted to leave the show.
