Amber Heard's Likely Missing Deposition in Johnny Depp Divorce Case

The 'Rum Diary' actress was reportedly 'still ensconced in London' on early Friday morning, August 12 though she's scheduled to be deposed in L.A later that day at 10 A.M.

AceShowbiz - Amber Heard has apparently found another way to avoid being deposed. After she was reported crying and screaming while refusing to testify under oath last weekend, the actress will likely miss her Friday, August 12 deposition in Los Angeles as she's currently still spending time in London.

The deposition in her domestic violence/divorce case is scheduled for 10 A.M., but TMZ said on early Friday morning that the 30-year-old blonde "is still ensconced in London." The site pointed out that things would be more difficult for her if she fails to show up.

Laura Wasser, who represents Johnny Depp, has already asked the judge to prohibit Heard from testifying in next week's trial after "The Rum Diary" actress came 90 minutes late to last Saturday, August 6's deposition and refused to testify. The judge could also just dismiss the domestic violence case.

Contrary to reports that Heard was the reason why her deposition didn't happen, a source close to her claimed that she was ready to answer questions at the time, but was never called to the deposition room. "Although Amber was ready, willing and able to go forward with her deposition, it was not taken by Johnny's attorneys," said the source. "She waited for 10 hours and at no time did Amber ever refuse to start the deposition. There was nothing preventing Johnny's counsel from commencing the deposition during that time."
