Luciana (Danay Garcia) and Francisco (Alfredo Herrara) are among the fresh faces featured in one of the pictures.

There will be several new faces when "Fear the Walking Dead" is back with the remaining of its second season. Ahead of the show's return, new photos from the second half of the season have arrived via different sites.

EW has got its hands on four of the photos, one of which reveals the new characters. They are Luciana (Danay Garcia), Francisco (Alfredo Herrara) and a scout (Carlos Sequra) who are all covered in blood in the image. Luciana has a big role in the upcoming episodes "as a soldier-type who brings Nick (Frank Dillane) into her community - a community filled with people who have unique views when it comes to the dead."

Other pictures feature familiar faces such as Kim Dickens' Madison and Colman Domingo's Strand at a bar, Cliff Curtis' Travis and Lorenzo James Henrie's Chris on the road, and Alycia Debnam-Carey's Alicia standing in what looks like a hotel hallway.

Over at IGN, there's a picture showing Madison, Alicia, Ofelia and Strand arriving at a hotel. Nick is alone and resting on the ground with his back against an abandoned car in another image. Another shot shows Christopher (Lorenzo James Henrie) packing his bag.

"Fear the Walking Dead" returns with the remaining 8 episodes of the season beginning August 21 at 9/8c on AMC. Executive producer Dave Erickson told TVLine that Nick "does reconnect with someone when we come back in episode 8," meaning he won't be alone for a long time.
