The YouTube star and former 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant is hospitalized after he was involved in a horrific car accident that leaves him 'in a lot of pain.'

AceShowbiz - YouTube star Hayes Grier is hospitalized after he was involved in a car wreck on Thursday, July 28. The 16-year-old, who competed in season 21 of "Dancing with the Stars", suffered a concussion, two fractured ribs and a bruised lung.
His brother Nash Grier spread the news on Twitter. He posted a screenshot of a message from a family member informing him about Hayes' condition. "Your brother is pretty busted up right now. Luckily no major stuff. All scans came back negative for any internal bleeding. He does have a concussion, fractured top two ribs and bruised lung on one side. He is in a lot of pain," read the message.

Nash also asked fans to pray for his brother, tweeting, "#PrayforHayes Just got a call on set that said Hayes was in a crash. He's now in the hospital."

A rep for Hayes confirms that the social media star is "under great care" at a hospital. Details about the car crash are not available as of press time.
Hayes finished eighth on "DWTS". He has over 14 million followers across Facebook, Vine, Instagram and YouTube. He is set to appear on a streaming series which will capture his attempts to run his family's 19-acre farm in Moorseville, North Carolina.
