Drew Barrymore is ending her marriage to Will Kopelman. Months after announcing their separation, the actress filed the divorce papers in Manhattan Supreme Court on Friday, July 15, according to New York Daily News.
The pair were already friends before they tied the knot in 2012 and became parents to daughters Olive (3) and Frankie (2). It looks like the two will have an amicable divorce as the site points out that the divorce is marked as uncontested in court documents.
Barrymore and Kopelman announced their split last April. "Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family," they said in a joint statement. "Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on." The couple added that their daughters would remain the first priority for "the rest of our lives."
Prior to this, Barrymore was married to Jeremy Thomas for less than a year. In 2001, she married actor/comedian Tom Green and divorced him in the following year.
