Rumor has it, the new Spice Girls trio has recorded a new track called 'Song for Her' ahead of their 21st reunion concert.

AceShowbiz - Spice Girls GEM is reportedly working on a new music. The trio, which consists of Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown, recorded a new song called "Song for Her" ahead of their 21st reunion concert.

Dan Wootton of The Sun said he had been "sent a leaked demo" of "Song for her". According to Dan, GEM "are still perfecting the tune and crafting other new material, [but] the early version already sounds incredible."

The song is "deep" as the lyrics talk about how the trio "have at times felt they have lost their Spice identity due to the pressures of being mums." The lines allegedly include, "Wipe up your tears of doubt you have been crying, lift up your dreams feel like you're flying, never forget the girl is the woman you are."

On Thursday, July 14, Emma addressed rumors about "Song for Her" on her Heart FM Breakfast show. According to the Baby Spice, the song was just a demo. "You know, it is in the papers today," she explained, "You know, us girls love creating stuff. We went and had a laugh in the studio. It's not a single, it's just we were creating. It's just a demo and somehow it has got out there."

The song is seemingly obtained from Spice Girls' songwriter and producer Eliot Kennedy who had his laptop stolen from the K West hotel in London on Friday, July 8, the same day of "Wannabe" 20th anniversary. At the time, Eliot tweeted, "A total and utter bastard has just stolen my laptop and studio bag out of the K West hotel lobby. Die in pain you prick."

On July 10, he added, "To the thieving bastard that stole my equipment. It must really suck that my laptop and iPad are encrypted and worthless! Die painfully loser."

The incident happened after Eliot revealed to "Good Morning Britain" that he had been in the studio with the Spice Girls trio. "We have been in the studio with just three of them and we had a fantastic couple of days," the producer said, "We wrote a brilliant song and the energy was exactly like it was 20 years ago, just as enthusiastic, just as much to say, just as much to celebrate."
