Lamar Odom is not homeless despite rumor that he was kicked out of his Calabasas rental by his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian. Sources close to the former Los Angeles Lakers player deny he has no place to stay.
TMZ previously reported that Lamar was homeless, going from house to house and staying with his friends in the Valley after Khloe decided not to renew his Calabasas rental. The lease is reportedly up at the end of this month.
"Lamar's not homeless. He has a nice place in California," a source tells E! News, adding that the TMZ story is "just a lie." A second source reveals Lamar is renting a house near Sherman Oaks after moving out of the Calabasas rental last month. "It was always a temporary agreement that he live there until he gets back on his feet," the second source adds.
According to another insider, Lamar is spending a lot of time with his children. He is also participating in an outpatient program, including counseling and professional support to help him remain on the right track.
"He is doing well," the third insider shares, "He is determined to stay on the straight and narrow [path] and wants to be the best father he can possibly be and he is doing the work required to achieve that. It is not easy, but he is focused and determined."
