Jim Carrey's ex Cathriona White took her own life shortly after they broke up last year. The Irish beauty passed away in her home last September after overdosing on prescription medication and was found with a suicide note for the actor.
The heartbreaking note has now emerged online via TMZ, detailing how White felt after she and Carrey ended their relationship. She also apologized to him, saying she'd "tried to give you my best part," and let him plan her funeral.
"I've spent 3 days now in disbelief that you're not here. I can go on brokenhearted and try to put the pieces back. I could, I just don't have the will this time," she wrote in the letter, adding, "I'm sorry you felt I wasn't there for you. I tried to give you my best part."
"I don't really know about burial or that sort of thing. You are my family so whatever you choose will be fine," she went on saying. "Please forgive me. I'm just not for this world."
Prior to the split and her death, White and Carey were reported dating on and off throughout their three-year relationship. A toxicology report said that four prescription drugs were found in her system when she died. Some of the drugs appeared to be Carrey's because cops found on her phone at the time a text message from the comedian, who asked her if she knew "where his painkillers went from under his sink."
