Ansel took to Instagram on Monday, July 4 to share a video of him covering Shawn Mendes' new song "Treat You Better". He captioned it, "My take of Shawn Mendes - 'Treat You Better' Wanted to make an emotional piano version with some new chords :) In other news I'm putting 'Home Alone' up on soundcloud next week with a official release later this month."

On Tuesday, July 5, Ansel thanked fans for their support on his "Treat You Better" cover. "Everyone still posting about the cover I appreciate it I'm in my mentions now following people who are posting about it :)," he wrote.

Ansel gave Korean fans a first listen to "Home Alone" during his performance in June.
