Ansel Elgort is officially an actor-slash-musician. The young star, who's best know for starring in movies like "Divergent" and "The Fault in Our Stars", has released his first single "To Life" under his DJ alter-ego Ansolo.

"HERE WE GO! 'TO LIFE' IS OUT NOW!!!! SO HYPE!!!" he alerted his Twitter followers when the song arrived on iTunes on Friday, September 18. Featuring the group Too Many Zooz and the phrase "L'Chaim" (which means "to life" in Hebrew) throughout, the track is perfect for Bar Mitzvahs, clubs and EDM festivals.

As Ansolo, Elgort has performed at some dance festivals including Electric Zoo and Ultra. The 21-year-old heartthrob is currently signed to Island Records. He recently talked about his music career in a Rolling Stone interview published shortly after news broke that he'd joined the major label.

"The whole thing ...it's more than just writing and performing," he shared. "It's engineering and producing. It's magical. It's something on your computer you can do all by yourself. It's the same thing as piano and voice, but now you have tracks that are 70 channels. You can write lines for all these different synthesizers and make unique things. With a piano, everyone's heard what a piano sounds like, but with dance music, every month there's a new track with a sound that everyone's like, 'What is that sound? How did he do it?' That's so exciting to me."
