Dwayne Johnson Shares New Picture From 'Fast and Furious 8' Set

The Rock calls himself 'The Iceman' in a picture which features him holding a large machine gun against an artic backdrop.

AceShowbiz - A new photo taken from the set of "Fast and Furious 8" has been shared by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The actor took to Instagram on Tuesday, June 28, to share the picture showing him as Luke Hobbs wearing a tight black shirt on the icy movie set.

Jonhson looks as buff as expected in the picture. He is also holding a large machine gun against the artic backdrop. "The Iceman cometh. And I don't f**keth around," so he wrote, adding the hashtags #OnSet #FastAndFurious #F8 #Hobbs #Iceman.

Previously on June 24, the wrestler-turn-actor posted a picture of one of the vehicles to be featured in the film, the "Ice Ram". He wrote in the caption, "When its time to save the world in the snow, Hobbs becomes the Abominable Iceman in his ICE RAM."

Directed by F. Gary Gray, "Fast and Furious 8" is filmed in several countries, including Cuba and Iceland.

The film also brings back Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris. They'll be joined by Kurt Russell, Elsa Pataky and Jason Statham, who are reprising their roles from "Furious 7". %Lucas Black% will also join the cast to reprise his role as Sean Boswell from "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

"Fast and Furious 8" will hit U.S. theaters on April 14, 2017. It will be followed by a ninth film which is due out April 19, 2019 and a tenth film slated for an April 2, 2021 release.
