The 'Wonder Woman' actress is set to recur in the second season of the CW series as President of the United States.

AceShowbiz - Lynda Carter is officially joining "Supergirl" season 2. Warner Bros. and The CW announced on Tuesday, June 21 that the "Wonder Woman" actress is set to star as President of the United States in a recurring role.
Lynda is set to appear in multiple episodes and will first appear in the third episode of the second season of "Supergirl". She is joining other superhero alums to appear on the series including "Lois and Clark" star Dean Cain and "Supergirl" actress Helen Slater who will play Kara's (Melissa Benoist) adoptive parents.
Back in March, "Supergirl" executive producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti revealed that they wanted to have Lynda, who starred as Wonder Woman in the 1975 series, play a role on the new series.
"We had the perfect role for Lynda Carter," Greg said as quoted by Entertainment Weekly. "We couldn't work out her schedule. Next year." Andrew chimed in, "We're going to do it, we'll just do it next year. All right, she's the female president of the United States."
"Supergirl" season 2 premieres on October 10 on The CW.
