If you're disappointed that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris broke up, you're not the only one. Interviewed on the red carpet of the 2016 CMT Music Awards that was held on Wednesday, June 8 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Kelsea Ballerini who is famously friend with the country-turned-pop superstar admitted she's also shocked by the famous couple's split.
Asked by ET's Sophie Schillaci how the "Shake It Up" hitmaker had been doing since her recent breakup, Kelsea said, "She's incredible. She's a strong chick, I'm sure she's fine." She added, "It's a bummer."
Taylor, indeed, looked in good spirits when attending her fans' wedding in New Jersey over the weekend. Rocking a floral brocade strapless dress by Rubin Singer, she performed a stripped-down version of "Blank Space" on a piano and gifted the bride and the groom with a watercolored card with the song's lyrics, "So it's gonna be forever."
Most recently, the 26-year-old singer was spotted leaving a gym in New York. Flaunting her killer abs in a crop top, she flashed a smile when photographed by paparazzi on Tuesday. "Of course she's sad about the breakup, but she's leaning on her family and friends and looking forward," a source told PEOPLE, adding, "She'll be just fine."
