AceShowbiz - More people take side with Johnny Depp amid Amber Heard's domestic abuse allegations. According to two witnesses who were in the pair's apartment unit when they were having an argument, the actor couldn't have hurt his wife because he was nowhere near her when she screamed, "Stop hitting me!"

TMZ reported that the two witnesses were security guards Jerry Judge and Sean Bett. Giving the couple some space during the argument, the two guards were standing in Depp and Heard's apartment unit's entryway when they heard the actress scream.

They ran to the living area and found Depp in the kitchen while Heard was on the living room's couch which was at least 20 feet away from him. The site was told that both Depp and Heard knew the guards were in the entryway and "the scream was a badly executed attempted setup."

Judge and Bett additionally said that during the two stars' 15-month marriage, Heard was the one who always got violent during arguments. She's the one screaming and throwing bottles at him and the guards sometimes needed to pull her off Depp.

Heard obtained a temporary restraining order against Depp after submitting photos of bruises on her face that she said were sustained during a fight on May 21. The Los Angeles Police Department investigated her domestic abuse claim, but found no proof that a crime had occurred.
