On Thursday, May 19, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback penned a heartfelt message in which he gushed about the 30-year-old songstress and her son, whom he said brought him "pure joy."
On Wednesday, Ciara posted on her Instagram account a black-and-white throwback photo of herself with her son just in time for the baby boy's 2nd birthday. In the photo, the "Body Party" singer was seen embracing the baby boy who's sitting on her lap.
In the caption, Ciara expressed her gratitude for having a lot of good time with her son and watching him grow. "It Was Just Yesterday I Was Holding You In My Arms Like I Am In This Photo. Now My Angel Baby Boy Is 2 Years Old!!....Running Around, Talking Up A Storm, Learning Fast & Getting Into Everything! Later on, Russell commented on Ciara's post as he praised her for being a great mother who devoted her time to her child. "Watching him grow over the past year and a half has been the most fulfilling and special things I've ever been around. He gets the purest and the sweetest love from you and to watch you be the woman and mom you are ALL the time," the 27-year-old athlete said. "Every morning. Every night. Every day... No matter what the circumstances or situation... good or bad... brings me so much joy & most importantly him. He is so blessed to have you hold him and hug him and love him with so much pure and real love that he will have no limits to what God has in store for him," he continued.
