Madeleine Stowe had a terrifying night last year when a man broke into her Beverly Hills house and robbed her at gunpoint. According to law enforcement documents obtained by TMZ, she lost $75k worth of jewelry after the thief found her naked when he was rummaging through her master bathroom.
That night, Stowe was sleeping in her bed with husband Brian Benben when she heard noises coming from the bathroom. While still naked, the former "Revenge" star went to check it out and later saw the unknown man who then pointed his gun to her neck.
The actress, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role as Victoria Grayson on the ABC drama, told police that the man, a Latino, spoke to her in broken English. He told her, "I want all the valuable, I want something," before fleeing with a bag filled with her antique jewelry collection.
The suspect, Walter Canizalez, was arrested months later when he was attempting another heist. He was wearing a Spider-Man mask at the time he was caught. Cops believe the man is responsible for at least three other armed home robberies and has been charged with robbery and sexual battery.
Canizalez's bail was set at $925,000 during an arraignment and he's ordered by the courts to obey the protective order involving Stowe and other possible victims.
