AceShowbiz - Avril Lavigne just doesn't understand why people hate Nickelback so much. The Canadian songbird felt the need to defend the band recently after the group appeared alongside a number of the most hated things in a newly-released Public Policy Polling survey.
Responding to an E! News article pointing out that Donald Trump now has more haters than Nickelback, Lavigne took to Twitter to tell "@ENews and everyone writing these articles" to "grow up," adding such reports were "extremely rude and uncalled for."

Lavigne has another reason to defend Nickelback. The "Sk8er Boi" hitmaker was married to the band's frontman Chad Kroeger. The two announced their split last year though they now seem to have rekindled their romance.
