There have been reports that the former members of Spice Girls, except Victoria Beckham a.k.a. Victoria Adams, are going to reunite for a tour to celebrate their 20th anniversary. However, the plans seem to be in jeopardy now after Melanie C has reportedly dropped out of the reunion talks.

The Sun broke the news, saying that Mel C made the decision because she wanted to focus on her own music. "Mel C is out of the reunion for now. She has essentially left the band to focus on a more serious music career," a source told the publication.

"She loves the girls but it just didn't feel right for her to reunite with them at the moment," the source continued. "She has other priorities and obviously it was a bit of a problem that Victoria made it clear she wasn't going to be part of the reunion."

Ever since reports of Spice Girls' reunion tour emerged, Victoria Beckham has never shown interest in performing with her former bandmates again. "[Victoria] has been very respectful about the fabulous time they had together in the past, however her focus is now very much her family and fashion business," her rep said earlier this year.

Without Victoria and Mel C, the other members are reportedly still "determined to mark their anniversary in some way." "They are arranging a number of meetings which include the option for a tour, possibly with just the three of them or with other singers. There have even been the suggestions of a Spice Girls talent show. It would be an absolute TV sensation. Could you imagine the opportunity for a member of the public to become a Spice Girl?" the source added.
