Things have never been the same for Desiigner ever since he put out his debut single, "Panda". The teenager's life drastically changed thanks to the track that became an instant hit and drew the attention of Kanye West, who then signed him to his G.O.O.D. Music earlier this year.

After joining the label, Desiigner didn't only get to work with one of the biggest names in today's rap scene, but he also got to appear on 'Ye's latest album, "The Life of Pablo". He had his hit sampled on "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2" and he contributed to another cut called "Freestyle 4".

While he's busy helping Kanye with the LP, his own "Panda" had been steadily climbing up the charts across the U.S. Currently, it is sitting at No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100, outperforming releases by bigger acts in the game like Drake and even Desiigner's own label boss Kanye.

Despite the massive success of his music, not everyone's a fan of Desiigner. Many listeners find that the 19-year-old MC's voice and flow are eerily similar to those of Future and they're not happy about it.

Having several times responded to the criticism, Desiigner has nothing but nice words to say about the Atlanta rapper. In an interview with HipHopDX last month, he said, "People gonna try to compare me. It is what it is... I know I am Desiigner. I'm just letting people know...Ain't no muthaf**kin' disrespect to him. May that man be God-blessed, man, keep doing his thing hitting the muthaf**kin charts. Keep doing his thing, but I'm Desiigner."
