Britney Spears has picked a song to lead her next album. Former "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" host Robin Leach "reliably" confirmed in a Las Vegas Sun article posted Monday, April 11 that the singer would release "Make Me (Oooh)" as the record's first official single.

Leach also shared some info about the song and its music video in the article, saying Spears would film the clip next Monday, April 18 and drop it along with the track four weeks later when editing is completed. "The concept for the video is all set," a source told him.

"The single and the video will thrill fans because it's all new, totally different and somewhat unexpected. It's different; it's a turn. She's gone from pretty straight-forward pop to a really interesting vibe with a lot of really cool stuff," the source added.

Previously, Leach said in a tweet over the weekend that Spears' yet-to-be-titled new album was set for May. He has now clarified that the follow-up to 2013's "Britney Jean" will come out in June, a month after the single's release.

Spears has been working hard on her anticipated full-length project with songwriters like Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter. She reportedly has also enlisted Nicki Minaj to appear on one of the songs. "Britney has reached out to Nicki and has sent her tracks to see if she would like to do a verse or rap on any of her new music," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"It is between two or three songs right now that Britney wants Nicki to be on," the source continued. "They just have to mutually select the perfect one for a future single and video."
