According to Las Vegas Sun's Robin Leach, Spears will pick her new single on April 11 and film its music video next week.

AceShowbiz - We're just a few weeks away from getting Britney Spears' new album. According to Las Vegas Sun's Robin Leach, former "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" host who's pretty reliable when it comes to anything related to the pop diva, a follow-up to 2013's "Britney Jean" could come in May.
In a tweet posted over the weekend, Leech said that Britney would select the lead single from her forthcoming record on Monday, April 11 and shoot the video a week later on April 18. The album itself is "coming in four weeks."

Spears has been working hard on what would be her ninth studio installment with several songwriters including Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, the ones behind Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's recent hits. She has been planning to drop the project later this year, but she always refuses to set a release date.
"Honestly, I'm just particular with this record. It's my baby, and so I really want it done right," she said of the album in an interview with V magazine earlier this year. "I just know that the direction I'm going in is so good. It's the best thing I've done in a long time. I'm proud of the work, and it's very different; it's not what you would think at all."
"I'm not rushing anything. I would much rather have it be completely how I want it to be, whether that takes another year for me to do, or two months. I have no idea at this point. I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it," she added.
