Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are set to finalize their divorce. According to TMZ, the former couple are done negotiating and ready to sign and file their divorce settlement. Sources say the settlement will be complete in a matter of days, possibly on Tuesday, March 12.

Under the deal, Chris and Gwyneth are getting joint custody of their children, 11-year-old Apple and 9-year-old Moses. They have reportedly worked out a property division and all that's left is for the judge to sign off.

Gwyneth filed for divorce from Chris in 2014, but curiously the Coldplay frontman never filed a response. The judge recently warned that a default judgment would be issued in Gwyneth's favor if the divorce lay dormant any longer.

Sources tells the site that in reality the divorce was never stalled and the business people for Gwyneth and Chris were discussing a settlement. The plan was not to file any legal docs that would attract attention until the ink on the settlement was dry.

According to the sources, only one more additional document needs to be signed by Gwyneth and Chris before it's a done deal. The document is merely a formality, and the only reason it hasn't been signed yet is because Gwyneth and Chris were in Peru with their kids for spring break.
